Younger Drivewear - We've been excited about the release of Drivewear for some time now. Available since September 1st, Drivewear is probably the most versatile and effective sunwear lens ever made.
Drivewear combines tried-and-true NuPolar polarized technology with a new, visible light activated, Transitions technology enabling Drivewear lenses to actually darken behind the windshield of a car.
With three different states, Drivewear provides maximum performance in every daylight condition, from overcast and foggy to bright sun and blinding glare. As if that weren't enough, Drivewear lenses are perfect for outdoor activities such as golf and fishing where varying weather conditions are often encountered.

KBco Wrap Solutions
Fashion wrap frames are typically best fit with 8 base lenses. However, spherical 8 base lenses are only optically suited for prescriptions of +2.50 D to +6.00 D. Now, KBco provides six individual, single vision, aspheric designs to deliver precise optics and an expansive viewing zone in oversized fashion and performance wrap frames for Rxs from -6.00D to +4.00D. Each aspheric design is tailored to a specific Rx range. KBco Single Vision Wrap Solutions lenses come in a blank size 83mm in diameter with 5mm of decentration to accomodate oversized wrap frames.
KBco EOS Wrap Solutions polarized progressive lens is coming soon.
Carl Zeiss Vision GT2
The Gradal Top 2 is now available with a lower 17 mm fitting height, a wider near zone, and a new optimized series of base curves.

Shamir Creation - Now available in 1.67, the Shamir Creation is the most widely accepted progressive lens design Laramy-K has ever carried. The response we've been getting from our customers has been nothing short of phenomonal. Shamir's new front curve Freeform design is up to 40% flatter and 6x more accurate.

Remove Scratches from 1.60 and 1.66 Product
Strange but true: You can easily remove most scratches from 1.60 and 1.66 product with a bowl of water and a microwave.
Here's how:
- Place scratched lens(es) in a bowl of water. Use enough water to ensure the lenses remain covered during the heating period.
Important: If multiple lenses are placed in the same bowl make sure the lenses do not touch one another.
- Heat the bowl of water containing the lenses in the microwave for 5 minutes on high.
- Allow the lenses to cool in the water for 10 to 15 minutes before handling.
- Remove the lenses from the water and the scatches will have dissappeared!
Important: Do NOT use this method on AR treated lenses.
Supplying Your Lab with Vertical OC Measurements
For best results, you should always provide your lab with vertical OC measurements when ordering aspheric product and as a general rule on all prescriptions over +/- 3.00 diopters.
